Prada was a leading force in fashion in the 1990’s and in high demand. In 1992 Miuccia launched the more affordable Miu Miu line which targeted a younger market. Prada Sport was created soon after followed by a line of men’s fashion and a lingerie collection.
Miuccia won ‘Designer of the Year’ in 1995 and opened her first boutique in LA in 1998. Prada is now international with boutiques in most countries across the western world, and remains popular with celebrities and fashion enthusiasts alike.
